The products of silicone glass adhesive manufacturers are made of PE material, while the packaging for soft packaging is made of aluminum film material. Under the same conditions, the water vapor permeability of aluminum film material is lower than that of PE material. Since it is the same adhesive, hard packaging is easier to dry than soft packaging. Therefore, in the same storage environment, attention must be paid to the shelf life of hard-packaged products.

Conclusion: Silicone rubber products should be stored in a dry, ventilated, and cool place. The storage temperature must be between -5 and 27 degrees Celsius, and the storage humidity must be 70%. Avoid storing them in the wind and rain. Under normal transportation and storage conditions, the shelf life is at least 6 months from the date of production. To prevent the quality of silicone rubber products from deteriorating during storage, here are some suggestions that I hope will be helpful to everyone.

1. Large warehouses should be located in shady areas that do not receive direct sunlight. They should not be situated in low-lying areas where water is prone to accumulate and drain. In the case of high-temperature warehouses, proper cooling measures should be taken for the roof. If conditions permit, air conditioners and dehumidifiers should be installed in small warehouses to maintain a constant temperature during summer and the rainy season.

2. Adopt the first-in, first-out (FIFO) principle to prevent the backlog of early-produced products, and focus on light packaging products, which should be kept in a good storage environment.
